Welcome to the Jefferson Swim League. If you live in the greater Charlottesville, Virginia area and your children enjoy swimming, please consider joining one of our 16 great summer swim teams. Swimming freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and relays in the JSL is just plain fun! -- just ask any of the over 2,870 JSL swimmers.

Find a team that meets your needs and share the experience of swimming with friends, both old and new. The Jefferson Swim League places strong emphasis on sportsmanship and fair play. As we like to say, the Championship lasts a day; Sportsmanship lasts a lifetime. You and your children will have a great experience while they improve their swimming skills on the way to the major event of the summer season - the JSL Championship at the University of Virginia's Aquatic & Fitness Center. The Jefferson Swim League (JSL) partners with the Ben Hair Just Swim for Life Foundation (BH-JSL) to provide a healthy, challenging, and rewarding growth experience through swimming for children and adults. BH-JSL teaches swimming with a focus on water safety to the broad community that may not have access to JSL. Learn more about BH-JSL and how to donate money and your talents at www.bh-jsl.org.
