The Gordonsville Gators are officially moving. The Parents of the Gators Assoc. (POGA) are pleased to announce the relocation of GVG to the Aquatic Center in Louisa County. POGA President Laura Mawyer said, "I am very excited about the move to Louisa. They are very welcoming to the idea of a swim team, excited to be offering the youth of Louisa more opportunities for sports, and overall they are just a very pleasant group to work with." In recognition of the move GVG will now be known as the Louisa Gators Swim Team, using the initials LG in the JSL!

The Gators are a financially self-supporting swim team with services and coaching supported by private donations and registration fees. Membership is open and registration dates will be announced soon. A kick-off picnic and registration will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 1-4 p.m. at the Aquatic Center in Louisa. Practice will begin on May 18, 2009. GO GATORS
