From North of Charlottesville (Ruckersville), follow Rt. 29 South through the traffic light at Airport Rd and go past the main entrance to Forest Lakes. From the main entrance, continue 1.3mi on Rt. 29 South through the light at Hollymead and turn left at the light for the entrance to Forest Lakes South. Go 0.7mi on this winding road and the Pool will be on the left. Pool Rules
From South of Charlottesville, follow Rt. 29 North several miles out of town (1.3mi past the light at Wal-Mart). Take a right at the traffic light into Forest Lakes South. Go 0.7mi on this winding road and the Pool will be on the left. Pool Rules
From East of Charlottesville, follow the Rt. 250 Bypass West and exit onto Rt. 29 North. Follow Rt. 29 North several miles out of town (1.3mi past the light at Wal-Mart). Take a right at the traffic light into Forest Lakes South. Go 0.7mi on this winding road and the Pool will be on the left. Pool Rules
From West of Charlottesville, follow the Rt. 250 Bypass East and take Rt. 29 North exit (to Washington). Follow Rt. 29 North several miles out of town (1.3mi past the light at Wal-Mart). Take a right at the traffic light into Forest Lakes South. Go 0.7mi on this winding road and the Pool will be on the left. Pool Rules
Pool Rules: The kiddy pool is closed to all during swim meets. All other recreational areas are strictly reserved for use by Forest Lakes residents: tennis courts, volleyball court, children's play ground, and the club house fitness center.
Parking Information: There is limited parking in the parking lot at the South Pool club house on first available. Parking directly along the front of the building is strictly reserved for 5 minute loading and unloading and is to be left clear during the meet for handicap parking in the designated spaces only and for emergency vehicles.
There are reserved spaces for the visiting team head coach and computer operators only.
All other swim meet guests may park in the remaining spaces. Additional/overflow parking is permitted along Ashwood Blvd in the grass well off the road. No parking is permitted in or in front of resident homes/drives in the nearby neighborhoods of Thornridge, Powell Creek or Empress Place.
